- Independent management and implementation of optimization and transformation projects in production planning, scheduling, material flow and internal logistics
- Analysis and further development of planning, inventory and material flow processes
- Development of robust control logics for high product variety, different production frequencies and widely varying replenishment times.
- Optimization of inventory, range, material availability and internal lead times
- Designing efficient material flows – even for large, heavy and bulky components
- Conception and further development of a high-performance inflow and outflow control system for product changes, variant changes and new product launches.
- Further development of system-supported and automated order and material control
- Conducting value stream analyses and deriving and implementing specific improvement measures
- Development and use of data-based KPIs for inventory, missing parts, lead times, material availability and on-time delivery
- Support in the design of new products with regard to material flow, variant management and industrializability.
- Development of standards and best practices for later transfer to other international production sites
- Moderation of workshops and close collaboration with production, purchasing, engineering, product management, quality and IT
Your skills

- Several years of experience in production planning, production control, scheduling, material flow, lean management or internal logistics
- Ideally, experience from the automotive industry, automotive supplier industry, or a similarly demanding production environment.
- Experience with high-mix/high-complexity production systems, complex bills of materials, and widely varying replenishment and manufacturing times.
- Good knowledge of inflow and outflow control as well as technical change management
- Experience in the analysis and optimization of value streams and production processes
- Strong affinity for data-driven control, ERP/planning systems and process automation
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Very good German and English skills
