Description

Responsibilities:

    • Lead all procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management activities across the business.
    • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for production lines, and raw material, along with general business need.
    • Establish strong relationships with local and international suppliers while negotiating commercial terms, pricing agreements, and long-term supply contracts.
    • Ensure adequate stock levels of raw materials and critical spare parts to support uninterrupted production.
    • Lead production planning and demand forecasting processes in coordination with manufacturing and commercial teams.
    • Monitor inventory levels and implement initiatives to reduce excess stock, obsolete materials, and working capital requirements.
    • Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation planning, distribution, and export coordination where applicable.
    • Develop supplier performance management systems and conduct regular supplier evaluations.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain efficiency enhancement.
    • Support ERP implementation and supply chain digitalization initiatives to improve visibility, reporting, and operational control.
    • Build Supply Chain department’s SOP’s. Prepare and monitor supply chain KPIs, including inventory turnover, procurement savings, service levels, forecast accuracy, and logistics performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management within industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Direct experience in gypsum manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics, inventory control, and supplier management.
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain reporting tools.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in developing or emerging markets.
  • Professional certifications such as APICS, CSCP, CPIM, CIPS, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing international sourcing and import activities.
