Job Description The Supply Chain Manager holds overall responsibility for designing, executing, and continuously improving the end-to-end supply chain strategy at Bosch Rexroth Canada, ensuring best-in-class service, quality, and cost efficiency. This leadership role oversees all aspects of supply chain management across the organization, including procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, SAP processes, and customer experience, and ensures alignment with corporate strategy and global standards. The Supply Chain Manager will lead the development of people, processes, and systems to optimize performance and achieve operational excellence across all Canadian operations and regional sites. This includes accountability for compliance with company policies, quality standards, and ethical practices. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop, execute, and continuously review a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with Bosch Rexroth’s corporate objectives. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, transparency, and service quality. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the supply chain organization. Information Flow Implement an end-to-end (E2E) approach for efficient and transparent information flow, from customer order intake to final delivery. Ensure data-driven decision-making through accurate planning, forecasting, and KPI reporting. Maintain proactive internal and external communication to support strategic and operational alignment. Material Flow & Logistics Optimize material flow from suppliers to customers, maximizing synergies between material and information management. Develop and execute logistics strategies that reduce total costs, improve on-time delivery, and maintain healthy inventory levels. Drive initiatives for customs, tariff, and duty reduction while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Customer Experience Oversee the full order management process to ensure a seamless and high-quality customer experience. Collaborate with Sales and Business Areas to align supply chain performance with customer expectations and corporate targets. Drive improvements in delivery accuracy, order quality, and customer satisfaction metrics. Purchasing & Supplier Management Lead direct and indirect purchasing operations, including supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management. Develop supplier strategies (e.g., single vs. multi-source, make-or-buy, risk management) that enhance value and resilience. Monitor and report key purchasing KPIs, including Material Cost Reduction (MCR), Supplier OTD, Quality, and TCO optimization. Explore opportunities to position Bosch Rexroth Canada as a purchasing hub within the North American region. Planning & Forecasting Ensure accurate and timely planning of costs, inventory, and demand to support corporate planning cycles (Target Business Plan, Forecasts, Month-End reporting). Strengthen cross-functional collaboration to improve forecast accuracy and resource utilization. Continuously improve planning systems and tools to support data-driven decision-making. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP, PMP) is an asset. Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management within an industrial or manufacturing environment. 5+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional or multi-site teams. Technical Expertise: Strong SAP knowledge (minimum three modules from MM, PP, SD, WM, LE). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (data analysis, reporting, modeling). Core Competencies: Strong strategic and analytical thinking with a results-oriented mindset. Proven ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies that drive measurable improvements in cost, quality, and service. Demonstrated leadership and team development skills; ability to influence across all levels of the organization. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Deep understanding of supply chain KPIs, inventory management best practices, and supplier relationship management. Familiarity with international logistics, trade compliance, customs, and duties. Resilient, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Additional Information This position will have a salary range of $132,000 - $159,000 annually. In addition to the base rate, the position will have an annual bonus potential of 0% - 25% of annual salary based upon company performance. This position is benefits eligible which includes medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance and other company offered benefits including a retirement plan which includes company match and a defined contribution.
