JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency of our business processes, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and be proficient in various supply chain management systems.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in supply chain management or a related field, with a strong understanding of business processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP ERP or Oracle EBS is essential.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools including Tableau and Power BI is highly desirable.
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement strategies, particularly using Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across various levels of the organisation.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.

  • Manage and optimise inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimising costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Utilise data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI to present insights and drive decision-making.
  • Oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma to streamline operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance and report findings to senior management.
