About this job

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

As a Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the overall coordination of complex supply chains and the design of strategic supply structures. You will manage cross-functional projects with high relevance to security of supply and efficiency, and further develop standards, methods, and KPIs. In addition, you will support the professional development of specialists and coordinators within the team.

Your other tasks include:

  • Implementation of projects for cost optimization and process improvement
  • Development of long-term supply strategies for critical components and global supply chains
  • Technical and economic evaluation of products, manufacturing processes and market trends
  • Proactive analysis of market and risk trends to anticipate potential bottlenecks
  • Analysis of needs, inventory, material flows and production requirements to identify bottlenecks and optimization potential.
  • Development of key performance indicator systems, dashboards and performance monitoring along the supply chain
  • Management of strategic and complex supply chain projects as well as development of long-term supply strategies for critical components
  • Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in supply chain management, ideally in a project-intensive environment
  • Strong analytical skills, systematic work methods, and cross-functional process understanding.
  • Excellent SAP knowledge (MM, PP) and experience with evaluation tools (Excel, BI, possibly Power BI)
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
