Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills, supply chain knowledge, and technology experience to join our team as a Supply Chain Manager. In this position, the successful candidate will own mid to long term topology strategy, short and long term plan of record management, and topology optimization engine for Amazon delivery forward nodes planning. This position requires working with multiple stakeholders across various supply chain functions like engineering, finance, operations, sales and operation planning. This role is a high visibility role as it requires regular interaction with the leadership team and involves critical decision making. Finally, this position develops and implements ideas to drive continuous improvement by simplifying the process, creating additional value, and driving automation. Key job responsibilities - Working with other technical teams on supply chain optimization modeling and strategy - Developing critical reports and presenting to senior leaders - Designing scalable and strategic solutions for customers in hard to reach places - Leading ambiguous initiatives from pilot to scale across the country - Running cost benefit analysis on multiple scenarios for the best forms of customer fulfillment - Presenting final recommendations to leaders A day in the life This role combines strategic thinking, data analytics, supply chain optimization, stakeholder management and hands-on problem solving – all with a direct impact on Amazon’s global last mile delivery network. You will leverage data-driven models to develop long-term AMZL build plans and lead scenario analysis to guide decision making as teams drive towards your plan. You will have opportunity to develop business cases for innovative delivery solutions, automate manual processes, and/or develop new modelling solutions for the network. Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - 2+ years of supply chain experience - Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market.
