About the role

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the end-to-end supply chain operations of the company, including procurement, inventory planning, warehousing, logistics, distribution, and store replenishment. The role ensures products are available at the right time and quantity while maintaining appropriate inventory levels, controlling costs, and improving overall supply chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations from purchasing and inbound shipment to warehouse and store delivery
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, stock ageing and product availability
• Develop appropriate stock levels and replenishment plans based on sales trends and operational requirements
• Identify and resolve overstock, slow-moving and out-of-stock situations
• Coordinate stock allocation and transfers between warehouse and outlets
• Ensure proper inventory control and stock accuracy
• Coordinate with the Purchasing team and suppliers on purchase orders, pricing, lead times and delivery schedules
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Oversee warehouse receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch operations
• Coordinate local deliveries and transportation arrangements

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant supply chain, logistics, procurement or inventory management experience, preferably in supermarket, FMCG, retail, food distribution or wholesale operations
• Strong hands-on experience in inventory planning, warehousing, logistics and supplier coordination
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of stock movement, replenishment and inventory control
• Able to manage multiple suppliers, warehouses, outlets and operational priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory/ERP systems
• Strong communication, coordination and leadership skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and respond promptly to operational issues
