Job Summary The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain execution in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. This role ensures material availability, monitors supplier performance, manages inventory control, and maintains production continuity while adhering to AS9100 and ISO quality standards. The Supply Chain Manager collaborates cross-functionally to balance cost, delivery, risk, and operational performance. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Lead all supply chain activities Identify and mitigate supply chain risks Monitor and report key supply chain KPIs Ensure timely availability of production materials, MRO supplies, and capital equipment to meet manufacturing schedules Coordinate supplier documentation requirements Manage purchase order execution, supplier commitments, and resolution of shortages or delivery constraints Partner with other departments to ensure materials and processes meet technical, quality, and regulatory requirements Maintain and develop approved supplier relationships, including pricing, lead times, performance expectations, and capacity planning Support inventory management and continuous improvement efforts Drive cost control through negotiations, alternate sourcing, supplier development, and spend analysis Support strategic sourcing initiatives and long-term supply chain planning to improve resilience and scalability Requirements Required Knowledge and Skills: Experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials management within a manufacturing environment (aerospace strongly preferred) Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals including planning, lead times, supplier performance, and inventory control Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace documentation/traceability requirements Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications Experience working with ERP/MRP systems in a regulated production environment Strong communication and collaboration skills across internal teams and external suppliers Highly organized, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Education and Experience: Aerospace manufacturing supply chain experience Exposure to logistics, import/export, or trade compliance Experience supporting supplier audits, corrective actions, or supplier development efforts Demonstrated success leading cost reduction, sourcing, or supply chain optimization projects Work Environment / Physical Demands: Primarily office environment Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Often exposed to loud, bustling or dusty environments Must be able to occasionally lift between 10 to 50 pounds
