JOB DUTIES:

• Liaising with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
• Performing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management
• Delegating tasks and supervising the work of buyers across all departments
• Identifying areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results
• Leading a team of buyers and delegate tasks across departments when necessary
• Managing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the organization
• Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business
• Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
• BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of Supply Chain experience, including at least 5 years in a direct managerial role with Supply Chain responsibilities.
• Mandatory experience within the Oil & Gas industry, specifically in Rotating Equipment, Drilling Equipment, Machine Shops, Workshops, and/or Oil Equipment Manufacturing.
• Experience in management and supervision.
• Financial and numerical skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional talent in negotiation and networking.
• Solid knowledge of supplier and third-party management software.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
