QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least five years’ experience working in procurement, logistics or supply chain management.
  • Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or similar qualification or studying towards CIPS qualification beneficial
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook is essential
  • General knowledge of various office 365 tools, including Teams and SharePoint

Responsibilities
  • In conjunction with the Director, Global Supply Chain & Logistics, develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, policies and procedures for KRSI Dartmouth, ensuring the most efficient and effective procurement and movement of goods and services are achieved.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, logistics, warehouse staff, production, finance, engineering, project management and senior management as appropriate to align supply chain activities including procurement, receiving, inventory holding and shipping with KRSI Dartmouth business objectives, demand forecasts and production schedules.
  • Oversee the coordination of transportation and logistics activities, including freight forwarding, imports & exports, handling of dangerous goods, warehousing, distribution to ensure the timely delivery of both inbound shipments to KRSI as well as outbound shipments to clients or to other distribution centers.
  • In conjunction with the Director, Global Supply Chain & Logistics, manage supplier relationships and vendor contracts, negotiating terms, pricing and service agreements to ensure cost-effect procurement and delivery of goods and services.
  • Source and select suppliers, conducting supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews to assess reliability, quality and compliance with contractual requirements. Ensure the selected supplier is uploaded onto the Approved Vendors List and managed accordingly.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics such as inventory turnover, on-time delivery, fill rates, lead times and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing corrective actions.
  • Work with the Inventory Controller to optimize the inventory management processes, including demand planning, inventory control and stock replenishment.
  • Work with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) company as well as Production and other stakeholders as required to evaluate and recommend supply chain technologies and systems including programs within the ERP system to improve inventory/demand planning.
  • Lead cross functional teams and supply chain projects, driving process improvements, system implementations, and change management initiatives to enhance supply chain capabilities and performance.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to supply chain staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, development and collaboration within the team.
