About the job

Supply Chain Manager

Are you a commercially minded Supply Chain leader who enjoys solving complex challenges, building high-performing teams and driving operational excellence? Our client is a highly successful  Australian industry leader in the consumer electronics/Tech space.

Due to unprecedented growth, they are looking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising the organisation’s end-to-end supply chain. This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role where your ideas will be valued, your expertise will influence business performance and your decisions will have a tangible impact across a national operation.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll oversee a complex, multi-site end-to-end supply chain across demand planning, inventory, warehousing, international supply and logistics. Operating across multiple distribution channels and supply models, you’ll ensure products move seamlessly through the network while identifying opportunities to improve service, optimise inventory, reduce cost and strengthen supply-chain resilience.

What you'll bring

We’re looking for an experienced Supply Chain leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and enjoys being close to the operation. You’ll bring proven experience leading complex, end-to-end supply chain operations across multi-site networks, ideally encompassing hub-and-spoke distribution, B2B customers and direct-supply models. Experience within manufacturing, industrial, wholesale, building products, engineering, HVAC, electrical, consumer technology or distribution environments will be highly regarded.

You’ll have strong capability across demand planning, forecasting, inventory optimisation, warehousing and logistics, with hands-on experience using sophisticated demand and supply planning systems. Experience with DSX (Logility) is highly desirable, or alternatively a closely comparable platform such as Blue Yonder, o9 or similar advanced planning technology.

Importantly, you’ll bring direct experience working with offshore manufacturing and international supply partners, managing the complexities of production, lead times, inventory availability and supply continuity across international markets. You’ll have a strong continuous improvement mindset and a track record of delivering measurable operational outcomes. We’re particularly interested in leaders who are proactive rather than reactive- people who identify emerging stock, supply or operational risks early, take ownership and drive solutions before they become business-critical issues.

Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the business are critical, paired with strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and proven people leadership.

Why this role?

  • This is more than maintaining a supply chain, it’s an opportunity to improve it.You’ll join a high growth business with a strong market reputation, work alongside an experienced leadership team and have the autonomy to identify opportunities, implement change and make a genuine impact. If you’re looking for your next leadership opportunity where you can combine strategy with execution and leave your mark on a business that values innovation and continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.
