JOB DESCRIPTION

Danfoss is proud to be at the forefront of driving a global transformation in digital and electric solutions that increase productivity and energy efficiency. We are truly passionate about investment, and innovation, as we continue to support our customers’ journey towards a greener and lower-carbon future. Our Editron business unit is changing the way the world moves with electric and hybrid powertrain systems for heavy-duty and commercial vehicles and machines, on both land and sea.
As a result of internal movement, we now have an opportunity to recuit a Supply Chain Manager to Danfoss Editron, with this role being based in either our sites in Lappeenranta, Finland, or Hamburg, Germany. Other European locations where Danfoss Power Solutions has a footprint may also be considered. The role will involve some international travel (up to 20-30%).
The Supply Chain Manager will play a leading role in end-to-end supply chain performance across the Business Unit’s global footprint, including strategic planning, logistics, inventory management, S&OP, and supplier relationship management. The role ensures alignment between supply chain operations and business objectives to enable profitable growth, cost competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience supply chain or related role within an industrial or manufacturing environment, with leadership experience in global, multi-site operations and end-to-end supply chain transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, influence without authority, and drive sustainable improvements in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset and operational hands-on capability. Strong knowledge of ERP systems (must be SAP), BI tools, and project management software.
  • Self-driven, accountable, and structured—able to balance process discipline with agility in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Fluent in business English, with excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills across cultures and seniority levels.
  • Willingness to travel as required within role.

At Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making. When you consider this job posting, do you feel like your profile is not a perfect match? Numerous studies have found that women and people of color are more likely to apply only when they meet all requirements listed in the job posting. Even if you do not check all the boxes, we encourage you to apply anyway. We are curious to find out how you can bring new insights to the role or to Danfoss as an organization.
