THE MISSION

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team. This role is critical to the setup of our new facility and will lead procurement and logistics efforts locally while supporting the global supply chain strategy in close coordination with the Procurement Manager in Munich. From infrastructure ramp-up to international compliance, your work will directly support the success of our Canadian operations and satellite projects.

RELEVANT SKILLS

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain roles, ideally in aerospace, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
  • Strong understanding of international logistics and trade compliance, including ITAR, CGP, customs, tariffs, and shipping of restricted items.
  • Hands-on experience supporting facility launches or infrastructure ramp-up is a strong asset.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across time zones and departments.
  • Proficiency in supply chain and procurement tools, as well as the MS Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency German or French is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement activities for the Canadian facility ramp-up, including infrastructure, tooling, and office setup.
  • Act as the primary supply chain responsible in Canada, collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and procurement counterparts in Munich.
  • Manage all cross-border shipping and logistics operations, ensuring full compliance with international trade regulations, including ITAR, CGP, and handling of restricted items, tariffs, and import/export documentation.
  • Source and manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and oversee contract execution for both infrastructure and component-level needs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, aligned with technical requirements and project timelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, drive cost-effective sourcing strategies, and implement improvements in supply chain efficiency.
  • Identify supply risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure continuity and resilience across logistics and procurement activities.
