Your main tasks:

• Central contact person for national and international companies as well as external logistics service providers in all distribution logistics matters.
• Tendering, selection and negotiation of logistics and service contracts, including the creation of reliable decision-making criteria for outsourcing.
• Building and maintaining a collaborative partnership with freight carriers for the continuous optimization of costs, quality and processes.
• Management, monitoring and evaluation of external service providers (e.g., freight forwarders, carriers, returns centers) including ensuring a smooth flow of information to customer service.
• Conducting market and benchmark analyses to evaluate the cost and quality levels of comparable service providers.
• Responsibility for systemic integration of freight carriers and professional evaluation of export, customs and relevant legal requirements in distribution logistics

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies with a focus on logistics, supply chain management or comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in comparable fields, ideally in the fulfillment of a B2C online retailer.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience in negotiating with service providers
• Ideally, basic knowledge of legal regulations within the framework of EU distribution logistics (especially the Packaging Regulation)
• Good knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel.
