Your tasks

• Strategically manage technical procurement: You will be responsible for technical procurement in our data center projects and will oversee tenders and award processes for structural engineering and building services from planning to implementation.
• Evaluate offers and secure decisions: You analyze technical requirements, assess offers, and develop economically and technically optimal solutions together with engineering, planning, and operations.
• Develop sustainable supplier relationships: You identify, qualify, and further develop national and international suppliers. In doing so, you build long-term partnerships and ensure quality, performance, and security of supply.
• Designing contract and procurement strategies: Together with central purchasing, you will develop purchasing strategies, negotiate framework agreements, and create the basis for scalable and future-proof procurement.
• Driving innovation: You work closely with our partners to integrate new technologies and solutions in areas such as energy supply, cooling technologies and modular building concepts into our projects at an early stage.
• Keeping an eye on profitability and risks: By analyzing cost structures, market trends and supply chains, you identify optimization potential, reduce risks and support well-founded make-or-buy decisions.

Your profile

• Technical know-how combined with economic understanding: You have successfully completed a degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, energy or supply engineering, mechanical engineering with a focus on building services engineering/refrigeration technology, or a comparable qualification.
• Alternatively, you can impress with practical experience: Even with a technical or commercial apprenticeship – for example as an industrial clerk, electronics technician for energy and building technology, mechatronics technician, technical systems planner or technician/master electrician – you are welcome to apply if you have relevant experience in technical purchasing.
• Experience in complex infrastructure projects: You have several years of experience in technical purchasing or supply chain management and are familiar with the requirements of demanding projects in data center, energy, industrial or plant engineering.
• International procurement as a strength: The development and management of international supplier and procurement networks are part of your experience.
• Negotiation skills and a proactive approach: You impress with your confident demeanor, analytical thinking, and the ability to successfully combine technical, economic, and strategic interests.
• Looking to the future: You actively monitor technological developments and market trends and contribute new ideas to the further development of our supplier and procurement strategy.
• Linguistically skilled: Fluent German and English skills complete your profile.
