Job Description This role owns the inventory planning and procurement decision-making that keeps the organization running smoothly. The focus is ensuring the right materials are available at the right time — without tying up capital in excess stock. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable translating operational realities into clear, data-backed inventory strategies. This is not a logistics-heavy or sourcing-heavy role. The core work centers on usage analysis, lead-time management, and building the logic that drives smart replenishment. Inventory Strategy & Ownership Owns the full inventory strategy: what to stock, how much, and when to reorder Builds and maintains reorder point logic using historical usage, variability, and real-world lead times Sets and adjusts safety stock and replenishment parameters to balance service levels and working capital Identifies inventory risk (stockouts vs. overstock) and takes corrective action quickly Cross-Functional Partnership Partners with internal teams to translate operational needs into actionable stocking plans Communicates inventory decisions clearly and proactively to stakeholders Qualifications What You Bring 5+ years in supply chain, procurement, or materials management Manufacturing or industrial environment experience (required) Strong ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Proven vendor negotiation and cost-control experience Experience managing 500+ SKUs Detail-oriented, decisive, and operationally grounded Additional Information Additional Exposure Light logistics exposure (e.g., inbound carriers) is helpful but not core to the role People leadership is a plus but not required — this can sit at a lead level without direct reports Compensation: USD90000 - USD130000 - yearly
