Roles & Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement supply chain and procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
2. Manage purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, and distribution activities.
3. Ensure the continuous availability of critical medical supplies, medications, equipment, and consumables.
4. Monitor stock levels, consumption patterns, expiry dates, and reorder points to prevent shortages and overstocking.
5. Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and performance reviews.
6. Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service agreements.
7. Coordinate with medical, nursing, pharmacy, dental, operations, finance, and maintenance departments to forecast requirements.
8. Ensure all purchased products meet approved quality standards and applicable healthcare regulations.
9. Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions and critical-item shortages.
10. Analyze procurement spending and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
11. Maintain accurate supplier, purchase order, inventory, and contract records.
12. Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs, including availability, cost savings, stock turnover, expiry losses, and supplier performance.
13. Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management.
14. Lead and develop the procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams.
15. Ensure compliance with internal policies, approved budgets, and authorization procedures.
16. Support new branch openings, expansion projects, and equipment procurement initiatives.
