JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control. This role requires a strategic thinker who can implement process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics roles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals.
  • Manage spend for inventory, consumables, equipment, and services supporting operations. This includes –
  • Identifying, vetting, and selecting sources of supply
  • Negotiating price and terms
  • Enforcing T’s & C’s
  • Maintaining productive supplier relationships which could include regular communications, in-person visits, strategy discussions, etc.
  • Identifying and executing cost savings opportunities through negotiation, competitive bidding, specification changes, MOQs, etc.
  • Determining appropriate stock and order strategies to avoid supply interruptions within acceptable inventory levels in order to meet client demand
  • Develop a supplier scorecard; monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
  • Implement appropriate inventory controls. This includes –
  • Document creation/management around all requisition, purchasing, storage, movement, and sale/disposition of inventory
  • Performing regular cycle counts in all locations
  • Supporting Controller in execution of annual physical inventory verification
  • Implement appropriate fixed asset controls. This includes –
  • Document creation/management around all requisition, purchasing, storage, movement, and sale/disposition of fixed assets
  • Performing quarterly fixed asset verifications in all locations
  • Supporting Controller in maintaining an accurate fixed asset register
  • Oversee logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of goods.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory control processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance demand planning and production planning efforts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement within the supply chain.
  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely purchasing of materials.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Kaizen practices across the supply chain.
