We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) for our renowned client on a temporary staffing basis. In this responsible position, you will ensure the operational supply of materials in a demanding technical environment and make a significant contribution to guaranteeing delivery capability.

Your tasks:

• Ensuring the operational supply of materials within a complex technical production and maintenance environment
• Analysis and evaluation of different material sources as well as carrying out range tests.
• Creation and coordination of detailed plans for material and event supply
• Derivation of measures for short-, medium- and long-term supply security
• Organization and monitoring of exchange and replacement solutions, as well as coordination with the relevant departments.
• Performing material bookings and maintaining relevant data in the system
• Development of alternative supply concepts in the event of material shortages, taking into account technical, economic and regulatory requirements.
• Proactive management and prioritization of critical materials, as well as initiation of escalation measures.
• Coordination of measures with the departments of purchasing, material planning, fulfillment and other interfaces
• Identification and implementation of optimization potentials as well as support for digitalization initiatives

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, economics, engineering, business informatics or a comparable subject area
• Experience in supply chain management, material planning or scheduling is desirable.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and SAP; experience with SAP BW, Power BI or Data Analytics is an advantage.
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
• High level of initiative and sense of responsibility
• Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor when dealing with different stakeholders
• Teamwork skills, assertiveness and negotiation skills
• High resilience and flexibility
