Supply Chain Manufacturing Solution Architect (Shanghai) As a Supply Chain Manufacturing Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in defining, designing, and delivering innovative IT solutions that accelerate Schneider Electric’s digital transformation across China’s manufacturing footprint. This position requires strong architectural expertise, deep understanding of supply chain manufacturing processes, and effective collaboration across global and regional teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. Architecture Design & Delivery l Design and deliver end‑to‑end solution architectures for China Supply Chain Manufacturing needs, ensuring robustness, scalability, and alignment with business priorities. l Ensure architectural alignment with Schneider Digital standards, including: o Schneider Digital Enterprise Architecture o Technical stack and infrastructure principles o Cloud & on‑prem hosting strategies o Network deployment governance o Data, AI, cybersecurity, and integration standards 2. Program & Platform Enablement(Kunpeng Program) l Support the deployment of global standard Manufacturing and Logistics Best‑of‑Breed (BoB) Platforms across China plants under the Kunpeng Program. l Lead integration and migration activities between ERP (SAP) and surrounding manufacturing systems during Kunpeng deployment. 3. Technical Governance & Vendor Management l Define solution architecture requirements for IT vendors and partners. l Review and challenge technical designs from suppliers to ensure full compliance with Schneider standards. l Influence external partners to adopt optimal and future‑proof architectural approaches. 4. Innovation & Manufacturing IT/OT Enablement l Enable business innovation in the manufacturing domain by identifying, evaluating, and architecting IT/OT solutions, including AI‑driven use cases. l Assess emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies suitable for supply chain operations. 5. Architecture Capability & Standards Development l Contribute to the enhancement of architecture capabilities across GSC China, including technology selection, design patterns, and best practices. l Maintain, update, and promote architecture principles, technical handbooks, and reusable solution components. 6. Solution Quality Assurance l Ensure solutions are maintainable, scalable, user‑friendly, and optimized for performance across environments. l Support project‑driven Application Certification Framework (ACF) activities to maintain compliance and operational readiness. Qualifications Education l Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. Experience l 8+ years of technical solution design and/or application development experience. l Strong understanding of supply chain manufacturing business processes and systems (e.g., MES, production execution, quality, maintenance systems). l Experience with logistics system deployment is a plus. l Proven experience in designing, launching, and continuously improving platforms and applications within a manufacturing environment. l Familiarity with product management concepts and Agile development methodologies. Technical Expertise l Deep knowledge of digital technologies, enterprise integration, and modern application architectures. l Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies and application ecosystems. l Experience addressing key non‑functional requirements (performance, reliability, security, scalability). l Knowledge of AI‑driven solutions and their application in manufacturing IT/OT innovation is highly desirable. Soft Skills l Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. l Proactive, customer‑focused, and collaborative mindset. l Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with cross‑functional and cross‑regional teams. Language l Fluent English (spoken and written).
