About the Role: We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Procurement & Supply Team. The Procurement and Supply (P&S) Branch is part of the CFO Division and is accredited with Level 4 – Advanced (Lead Buyer) procurement accreditation and manages CHS procurement requirements including acquisition, inventory management, invoice processing and delivery to hospital wards and other end users. P&S comprises four teams, Procurement Clinical Equipment, Procurement Inventory and Services, Supply Chain, and Supply Operations. As a Supply Chain Officer, you will be responsible for contributing to a high performing operational team, contributing to operational efficiencies, quality assurance, and compliance, undertaking simple and complex purchasing and cataloguing relating tasks, and attending to incoming Supply Chain inbox and related reports, suggested orders, chase-ups, and stock out of stock. We are looking for someone with organisational skills with an attention to detail, who can manage competing priorities, is adaptable and flexible, has a commitment to maintaining accurate date and upholding data integrity standards, is clear and professional communication skills, effective time management skills, and can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. This position reports to the Assistant Director, Supply Chain and is primarily located at the CHS Distribution Centre in Hume.
