POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Operations (SCO) Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the flow of goods, materials, and information across our supply chain. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure that all logistics operations run smoothly, efficiently, and on time. Work hours Monday - Friday 2pm to 11pm ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION Weekly / daily load planning for week upcoming in Venture TMS based on customer demand. Coordination with assigned carriers for upcoming week schedule Adjustments to published schedule based on customer changes needed Coordination with assigned carriers, suppliers and docks for schedule changes Venture TMS (ALMS and 3G) 100% up to date on carrier check calls Ownership of management of carriers keeping Venture TMS up to date Customer portal (as required) management Assurance of EDI updates flowing to customer TMS If needed, manual update of customer portal Requirements OTHER SIGNIFICANT JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE Management of all routes for defined customer Assurance of trucks running to schedule Alert / communication to customers of late trucks / reason why Customer specific reports - ownership of reports being sent out Requests from Account Management on KPIs / data needed Coordination with AMs in preparation for customer meetings Knowledge of KPIs to be able to speak to non-conformalities Receive requests from customers of expedite needed Posting of expedite needed on Venture TMS Awarding of expedite to carrier Tracking (every 2 hours) sent to expedite requester until deliver REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or 3 years of industry experience PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Experience: At least 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, or any combination and experience, which would provide equivalent background REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.) Strong knowledge of logistics processes and transportation management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (such as SAP, Oracle, or other industry-specific tools). Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
