Supply Chain Operations Procurement Agent Company: The Boeing Company If you are interested in a position that is not routine or static and combines both Supply Chain and Project Management skills, then we are looking for you to join our team. This position is for an Operations Procurement Agent working in Interiors, specifically Buyer Furnished Equipment, Galleys and Monuments. Success of the job will require the employment of Project Management tools (risk management, contingency planning, etc.) to manage supplier performance to support and protect galley and aircraft delivery and certification schedules. Ideal candidates must also possess the ability to work in a daily teaming environment with peers, suppliers, customers and management. Frequent travel to supplier sites will be required. Position Responsibilities: Strong communication and collaboration skills are required to succeed in this position as well as presentation and facilitation skills to work with cross-functional groups in establishing and achieving common goals. Knowledge of or the ability to learn Boeing processes (SFE/BFE processes, eTRAC, SDT, & ETAC) are essential (training will be provided). Must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities and be flexible to changing requirements. Support internal groups (engineering, receiving, factory and flight line) by effectively working part shortages, supplier technical data submittals required for certification, supplier Corrective Actions (CAF), Notice of Changes (NOC) and Notice of Escapements (NOE). Conduct supplier assessments and reviews to better understand Production impacts and needs. Consult with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues. Gather data to identify areas of risk, issues and improvement opportunities and communicate that to both Boeing and supplier leadership. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes 5+ years of experience with industry SAP (System Applications and Product) and/or an equivalent such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) 5+ years of experience Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word 5+ years of experience in the deployment and administration of policies, procedures, and processes 5+ years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external), at all levels, on a one-on-one basis and in group settings Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10% may be required) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher is desired but not required 5+ years of high-level complex program management 5+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
