The Opportunity
BlueScope Building Components is looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager to join the National Supply Chain team. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.
In this permanent full-time position, you will lead a diverse portfolio of strategic and operational projects aimed at creating a more efficient, consistent and future-ready supply chain. From process optimisation and product rationalisation to automation and AI-enabled initiatives, you will help shape how supply chain activities are delivered across our national business.
Working across multiple sites and functions, you will turn complex business challenges into practical solutions that simplify work, strengthen capability and deliver lasting value. This is a hands-on position for someone who can move comfortably between strategic thinking and practical implementation, bringing people together to embed meaningful and sustainable change.
The role can be based in any Australian capital city, with key BlueScope locations including Emu Plains and Mascot (NSW), Archerfield (QLD) and Lyndhurst (VIC). We offer a flexible hybrid working model, including the opportunity to work from home up to three days per week. As this is a national role, occasional travel to BlueScope sites across Australia will be required, averaging approximately six trips per year.
What Will You Do?
Working across longer-term transformation initiatives and shorter-term operational improvements, you will collaborate with supply chain, operations, sales and technology teams to deliver meaningful change. You will:
