JOB SUMMARY

Management and development of procurement and supply chain activities. Overseeing day to day procurement and warehouse functions, optimising processes and efficiencies. Supplier management and activities to achieve cost savings and maximise commercial performance. Working cross-functionally with commercial, technical, quality and sales teams to achieve departmental and company performance targets. Supporting Supplier development and performance

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Degree level education
• CIPS, or MCIPS status desirable
• Engineering background, or technical procurement experience desirable

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

· Engineering industry experience preferable – Rubber / plastic industry, compression moulding, injection moulding
· Proven ability with 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role in a target driven, procurement & supply chain environment
· Previous managerial experience with an established track record of leading procurement and operational teams
· Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
· Understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes
· Able to work to strict deadlines and work under pressure with multiple projects
· Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP and data analysis
· Cross-functional team collaboration
