Your mission – this is what awaits you with us:

• Strategic Purchasing – Responsibility for the strategic purchasing of direct materials in defined product groups and active management of the associated supplier portfolio.
• Commodity Strategy – Development, translation and implementation of a regional commodity strategy based on the global category strategy, including market and competitive analyses.
• Negotiations & Compliance – Preparation, execution and follow-up of supplier negotiations including ensuring complete, audit-proof documentation and compliance with all compliance requirements.
• Costs & Business Cases – Identification of cost reduction potentials, creation of robust business cases and responsible management of implementation throughout the entire life cycle.
• Risk management & coordination – control of tenders, supplier changes and relocation projects as well as escalation point in case of disruptions in the supply chain in close cooperation with Quality, Technology, SCM and other interfaces.

Your profile – what you bring to the table:

• Completed university degree, preferably in business administration or industrial engineering, or comparable qualification.
• More than three years of relevant professional experience in strategic purchasing or commodity management.
• Solid knowledge of negotiation techniques and professional supplier management.
• Basic knowledge of cost structure analysis and business case evaluations.
• Excellent English skills at a negotiation-level (C1)
