Description
We are currently hiring a FT, Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment Analyst, hybrid in Boston. The primary function of the Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment Analyst (CPFRA), is to champion the customer. The Replenishment Analyst manages the customer shipment plan by maintaining effective replenishment plans, optimizing truckload efficiencies, and driving continuous improvements within the order generation process. And provides regular and ad hoc analysis, supports the standard work for the use and optimization of internal software, and is responsible for maintaining optimal replenishment settings for customers by partnering with supply chain planning teams and customer service. This role is critical to ensuring an accurate and efficient VMI replenishment process to the wholesalers, while delivering wholesalers with shipment plans that achieve desired inventory targets, high service levels, minimal obsolescence, and full truckload utilization that is demand driven. *A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams’ weekly schedule. What You'll Brew: Utilize internal software to manage customer replenishment plans and order creation process for assigned regions and drive accountability for customer service and truckload efficiency Monitor, escalate, and resolve/ repair shipment risks (stuck shipments, late orders, etc.), potential service level impacts, and continuous improvement opportunities as well as orphan & SAP data issues related to planning parameters driving VMI logic Provide focused attention on network plan that ensures on-time and in full delivery from BBC shipping locations to SKU at wholesaler granularity Ensure replenishment settings, inventory parameters, and wholesalers’ active product assortment align with company policies for desired stocking levels and service level targets KPI accountability to support operating performance in the following areas: Customer service (service level) Truckload efficiency On time in full Facilitate an accurate and efficient replenishment plan by thoroughly reviewing morning alerts in the following areas: Wholesaler sawtooth synchronization VIP Data exceptions A/B year-round SKUs not on VMI Recommend enhancements to delivery truckload utilization that drive efficiencies within order generation process, sourcing assignments, and weak lane analysis Ensure automated loads transmitted to SAP are both full and demand-driven and customer centric and deliver a shipment plan to supply planning that is demand-driven and supports service level and truckload utilization Partner with BBC Customer Service and BBC Sales teams to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting, provide training, and engage in collaborative problem solving and wholesaler specific issue resolution Support demand and KPI root cause analysis by collaborating with CPFR Analyst – Demand and BBC Distribution and Inventory Planning to achieve desired stocking levels and service level targets Support demand and KPI root cause analysis by collaborating with BBC Distribution and Network Planning to achieve desired truckload utilization Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, such as Distribution, Network Planning, Inventory Planning to deliver a demand-driven signal to supply and achieve wholesaler KPIs of service level, OTIF, and truckload utilization Cross-functional projects including, but not limited to: New Item initialization, Seasonal Transition execution, scarcity and allocation analysis, and S&OP collaboration What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3 years broad-based supply chain / inventory / replenishment planning experience in a CPG, VMI, or allocations operating environment Strong analytical abilities with an ability to manipulate large data sets a must; Basic to Intermediate Excel skills a must Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills are necessary High sense of urgency and commitment to task with a strong sense of accountability Detail and action-oriented self-starter who is flexible to work in an exciting and ever-evolving business Strong personal responsibility and individual accountability in their work Preferred Qualifications: Statistical analysis CPG / Retail allocations experience a plus Commercial planning and allocations systems experience a plus ASCM/APICS certification preferred Preferred degrees: Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Finance/Accounting, Economics, General Business degree Level: 7 At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $59,500 and $106,600. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
