Heler Foods Packing, a leading cheese packing facility in the UK, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Supply Chain Scheduler to join our Supply Chain team in Minffordd.
Working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (7am – 7pm), you will play a key role in managing daily planning and scheduling to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of materials and products across our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage daily production and delivery schedules using Excel-based tools.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, transport, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on schedules and priorities.
• Adjust plans in real time to accommodate delays, shortages, or urgent orders.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to confirm availability and timelines.
• Identify scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, or risks and recommend effective solutions.
• Monitor performance and maintain accurate records of planning activities.
• Provide regular updates and structured handovers at the start and end of each shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supply chain, planning, or coordination role.
• Advanced Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise across multiple departments.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, adapting quickly to change.
• Comfortable working independently while being part of a wider team.

Desirable

• Experience within manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environments.
• Familiarity with shift-based or 24/7 operations.
• Exposure to lean principles or continuous improvement practices.
