Job Purpose As a Supply Chain Solutions Specialist for IP Services dedicated to the Asia Pacific region, you will build and manage customized supply chain solutions specifically tailored to APAC market requirements, cultural nuances, and regulatory frameworks. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust network of IP service providers across key APAC markets including China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan etc. About Protect We help Protect our customers’ ideas and innovations Job Overview Key Responsibilities Act as the dedicated IP Supply Chain Solutions Specialist for all Asia Pacific agents, initiatives and projects Ongoing development of APAC IP landscape, including local regulations, cultural considerations and market requirements Support rate negotiations, considering local market conditions and currency fluctuations Build and manage relationships with IP service providers across key APAC markets (Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore Build region-specific commercial profiles of IP partners and agents Support and lead local strategic initiatives Support APAC time zone operations and provide coverage during regional business hours Collaborate with local RWS offices across APAC to ensure seamless service delivery Analyse current and future IP needs specific to APAC clients and vendors and build customised supply chain solutions Ensure compliance with local regulations and cultural requirements across different APAC jurisdictions Provide training and guidance to team members on APAC-specific processes and requirements Proactively identify risks and opportunities unique to the APAC market Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, vendor management or project management, with specific exposure to Asia Pacific markets Strong understanding of the APAC region, business culture, practices and regulatory environments Experience with Intellectual Property industry preferred Fluency in English is required Ability to work across multiple time zones and manage relationships Advanced proficiency in MS Office with strong analytical skills and the ability to draw insights from large data sets Ability to stay organized and prioritise while engaged on multiple projects at once. Ability to work with data, analyse it and draw relevant conclusions / provide recommendations and reports.
