JOB SUMMARY

With our company direction set for the next 5 years and our systems roadmap approved by the board, we are now ready to set the foundation for global growth and expansion at Aurora Cannabis. To support this direction and change, and in keeping aligned to our IT Business Partnership approach, we will be seeking a Supply Chain Process Specialist, 1ERP.
This Manager level role will lead the design and implementation of Supply Chain operational processes and ERP systems, following the direction of and providing input to the 1ERP Program Director on the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blueprinting and designing critical mega processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the supply chain. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Our 1ERP initiative is a critical project and is key to the delivery of our targeted operating model end state. The Supply Chain Process Specialist role will work hand in hand with 1ERP Project Leadership, Senior Business Leadership, Business Lead – Op & SC, Business Lead – Finance, and key impacted business teams and leaders.
The Supply Chain Process Specialist will represent the voice of the Supply Chain function and be the conduit for key decision-making support, resolving priority and resource conflicts, project interdependencies, and aligning critical milestones for flawless execution. This role will represent the Supply Chain function for all Sites to drive upcoming go-live activities, align with industry best practices, and adoption of Aurora’s 1ERP platform.

KNOWLEGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Deep knowledge and extensive experience of large scale Supply Chain ERP implementation.
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional change management in a global environment.

  • Solid business sense – in tune with the business, shows an interest in other departments and how they contribute to the overall success of the company.

  • Global or multi-country experience an asset.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years related experience as Manager level or higher in large organizations – Supply Chain and Operations Profiles work best.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain processes and information within an organization, including, but not limited to, services such as Planning and Procurement, Cultivation and Supply Chain, Quality, Logistics and Manufacturing
Responsibilities
  • Partner within the project team to drive change and adoption of Supply Chain components of the 1ERP system. Be a change champion.
  • Work closely with 1ERP Teams to develop end state processes, data requirements, policies and SOPs for locking in our changes and or improvements.
  • Work closely with the business functional leaders and teams to enable an effective transition to the end state, with a set of common processes and data that can be adopted globally.
  • Global Supply Chain advocate for all business units, customers, external partners
  • Lead, mentor, and align business leaders, teams and 1 ERP project resources
  • Support project development, training, and overall change management and adoption processes.
  • Develop and document process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for critical supply chain functions.
  • Create blueprints for critical mega processes within the supply chain, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance operational performance.
