Join Us as a Supply Chain Specialist at Alfa Laval — Lund, Sweden Are you passionate about creating smooth, efficient, and sustainable supply chain processes? At Alfa Laval, we’re looking for a driven and analytical Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in our newly renovated Lund office. In this on-site role, you’ll be an essential part of our operations — ensuring that materials, products, and information flow seamlessly through our supply chain. You’ll collaborate closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to keep things running efficiently and deliver exceptional service to our customers. What You’ll Do Your role will be both dynamic and impactful. You will work closely with suppliers and customers, ensuring performance and reliability across the supply chain. You’ll take ownership of securing a stable supply chain by collecting data, analyzing trends and identifying potential improvements. Key responsibilities include: Data & Analytics: Being the primary point of contact for troubleshooting potential inventory planning issues Collect, structure, and analyze supply chain data to uncover patterns, trends, and improvement opportunities. Translate raw data into actionable insights and visual reports that support smarter decisions across sales, planning, and operations. Identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and cost drivers — and work proactively to address them. Support forecasting and planning by providing clear, data-based recommendations to colleagues and their suppliers and products, as well management. Build reports and presentations based on collected data Order Management: Process and monitor purchase and sales orders, ensuring precision and timely fulfillment. Supplier Collaboration: Build strong, trust-based relationships with suppliers — confirming orders, resolving issues, and supporting performance improvements. Inventory Control: Partner with warehouse colleagues to monitor and optimize stock levels, balancing availability and cost efficiency. Logistics Coordination: Plan and follow up on transportation, track shipments, and manage import/export documentation. Process Improvement: Use insights and analytics to streamline workflows, improve lead times, and boost supply chain reliability. Customer Service: Provide timely updates and information to internal and external stakeholders about order status and product availability. Compliance: Ensure that all activities follow company policies and regulatory standards. What You Bring We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, international environment. You’ll succeed in this role if you have: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in ERP systems (D365 preferred) and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. An analytical mindset and attention to detail. A team-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment. Fluency in English and Swedish (additional languages are always a plus!).
