OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist will aggressively support the company’s supply chain, sourcing and production planning strategies with the fundamental objectives to improve product flow, product cycle times, operational productivity, customer satisfaction, and product profitability. You will help develop the Company’s near term and longer-term supply chain plans, sourcing plans, and stocking plans.

REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is required.
• Up to five (5) years combined, successful and progressive experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Production Planning, Manufacturing and/or Operations Management.
• Ability to work within a dynamic and innovative supply chain program.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• The ability to arrive at sound decisions designed to produce effective results.
• Dynamic personality capable of implementing process change.
• “Roll up the sleeves-get it done,” action-oriented personality is essential.
• Ability to be an independent producer, and to work independently and efficiently in a nimble and diverse organization.

• Supply Chain Management - Oversee the company’s supply chain network. Responsible for the requisition of fabrication / assembly supplies. This will require collaboration with Inventory, Procurement, and third-party suppliers and management of the job specific supply chain to ensure that each job is completed per the committed delivery date. Selection of supplies and process sequences shall be such to achieve the lowest total cost of goods sold with the highest degree of quality. Organize the flow of incoming services and products relative to the “critical manufacturing path” for all products under manufacture. Ensure that all third-party resources are properly engaged and that transparent communication is in place. Expedite all third-party resources to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services and sub-assemblies. Minimize all expediting or “rush” charges.
• Teamwork – Coordinate with Procurement and the Production Team to ensure that all efforts result in high quality products produced in a timely and accurate manner. Follow-up with the manufacturing team to achieve or exceed the targets on a continuous basis. Coordinate with other teams within the organization for ensure that all production inputs are properly organized to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Stocking Program Management – Responsible for auditing of stocked inventory which includes monitoring of managed parts, reporting of those managed parts, and issuance of requisitions when managed parts hit the pre-set inventory levels. Managed parts include those that will be incorporated into company KAN-BAN programs. KAN-BAN programs will include minimum inventory levels and economic order quantities that will take into account delivery and cost. Collaborate with Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Manufacturing, and the Field Services representatives to collaboratively develop a system that meets business and customer needs.
• Expediting - Confer with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects. Expedites operations (i.e. suppliers and sub-contractor deliveries) that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Will be required to expedite shipments and ensure that production loading is not negatively affected by shipping or supplier delays. Coordinateexpedite the placement of purchase orders and/or delivery of material as required by outstanding orders, speculative building plans, and on-going shop demands.
