Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an entry level Supply Chain Specialist (Level 1 or Level 2) for our Oklahoma City, OK facility. The Supply Chain Specialist will act as a key liaison between external customers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency. This role involves resolving issues related to materials that cannot be received, working closely with relevant parties to identify and address root causes effectively. Responsibilities also include analyzing inventory data, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to maintain accurate inventory records. Additionally, the specialist will coordinate shipping activities with government entities and the 3PL (Third-Party Logistics Provider) warehouse, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment in Oklahoma City, OK.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Operations or Government customer support.
  • Experience in Supply Chain systems such as WoW (Warehouse on Web)
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bombers equipment and inventory management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience in Supply Chain or aircraft repairs.
  • Experience working with a 3PL in achieving KPI (Key Performance Indicator) metric improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Initiate material Loss, Damage, Destruction or Theft (LDDT) resolution.
  • Analyze material location and initiate redistribution action.
  • Analyze supplier and/or customer data regarding impact to supply chain and programs.
  • Identify and resolve customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies.
  • Identify Supply Chain alternatives to resolve part shipping and receiving issues.
