Description

Your role in our team:

Responsibility for IT system monitoring and operational control of suppliers to ensure the availability of purchased parts.
Initiating measures to safeguard production in the event of bottlenecks (including coordination with production departments) or other delivery difficulties, as well as independent escalation talks with suppliers.
Independent negotiation of logistics agreements with suppliers
Design of supplier qualification and development measures as a team member or in a management role (within the SCM area as well as across global teams in the areas of purchasing and quality management)
Driving current topics forward as a subject matter expert within an internationally working team and contributing your own ideas to your daily work.

Your profile:

Commercial/technical studies or subject-related further training (e.g., technician)
Several years of professional experience in supply chain management or in the production environment of an industrial company, as well as ideally good technical understanding.
Strong communication and persuasive skills, teamwork skills, and a systematic and independent work style.
Proficient use of MS Office and ideally SAP
Fluent German, both spoken and written
Good English skills, both spoken and written.
Flexibility and willingness to travel
