Description

MISSION:

A Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shipping and receiving department. This includes receiving inventory for all departments, as well as picking, packing, and shipping all orders. The role involves managing NutriChem’s supply chain and logistics strategy with the goal of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of products.
The Supply Chain Specialist works across various departments to streamline processes, manage inventory, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure production and delivery schedules align with customer demands. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining speed.
An important aspect of the role is continuous improvement, with the long-term goal of incorporating data analysis, forecasting, and risk management to ensure a stable, responsive, and adaptable supply chain.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND TRACK RECORD:

  • Post secondary education in Supply Chain coordination/management, Business Administration, logistics, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in logistics, purchasing, and supply chain management, preferably in a retail setting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive problem-solver, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
