Purchasing of merchandise including import processing, supplier management and complaint handling
Ensuring material availability at the relevant storage locations, taking into account stock levels, demand and delivery times.
Increased delivery performance through management of day-to-day operations with internal manufacturing and external suppliers
Cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders in production, logistics, product management and sales
Analysis and monitoring of relevant supply chain key performance indicators and derivation of suitable measures
Support and optimization of the S&OP process as well as the continuous improvement of planning and control processes and data quality.
Active participation in the development of efficient production and capacity planning within the framework of the introduction of a new ERP system.

Your profile

Merchant/skilled worker for wholesale and foreign trade management, specialist in logistics or a successfully completed degree in supply chain management, business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in operational purchasing, materials management, production planning or supply chain management of a manufacturing company
Experience in using ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
Ideally, initial experience in ERP implementation or transformation projects.
Excellent process understanding and strong analytical skills
Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in international teams
