Let’s take a closer look at the role Job Description Key Responsibilities Shipment Monitoring & Execution – Monitor and ensure on-time pickup and delivery of shipments for managed transportation customers. Carrier Documentation & Invoicing – Ensure timely receipt and processing of carrier documentation and invoices. Customer Support & Communication – Respond promptly to client needs via email and phone, including tracking, tracing, and resolving shipment issues. Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement – Identify carrier performance concerns and recommend corrective actions to management. Cross-Functional Support – Participate in cross-training and provide coverage for other Logistics Specialists to ensure seamless customer support. Work Environment Fast-paced transportation/logistics office environment Frequent communication via phone and email Multi-tasking across shipments, systems, and customer requests Extended computer usage required Regular attendance is essential Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in a transportation, logistics, or customer service role Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Personality Traits Friendly and outgoing Adaptable to daily operational challenges Strong communicator (written and verbal) Highly organized with strong planning skills Results-oriented and quality-driven Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to multi-task effectively Additional Information Pay/Benefits/Perks $22-23/hr Accrue up to five days PTO in first year. Two-weeks vacation, plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary.
