Description

We are looking for a meticulous Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in managing and optimizing supply chain operations, ensuring seamless communication with suppliers, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This position requires a proactive and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage purchase orders (POs) while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Monitor and review stock levels to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract manufacturing processes, including organizing shipping forms and coordinating supplier communication.
  • Expedite orders from suppliers and address any delays to meet operational deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations manager to address supply chain challenges effectively.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Ensure accurate validation and migration of supply chain data within the required systems.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and timely deliveries.
  • Understand and manage lead times, freight terminology, and logistics processes to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Support purchasing activities while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire supply chain cycle.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
  • Prior experience with JD Edwards is REQUIRED!
  • Proven experience in creating and managing purchase orders.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and freight logistics terminology.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a dynamic environment.
