POSITION SUMMARY

Rulmeca Canada Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to support our inventory management and indirect procurement operations. This role is critical in maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring timely procurement of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) items, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, ERP experience, and a passion for operational and supply chain excellence in a manufacturing environment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

· Post-Secondary education in either Business, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· High level of proficiency with: MS- Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Excellent time management skills with ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities simultaneously
· Previous ERP experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365
· Previous manufacturing experience
· 2 years’ experience in a similar Supply Chain role
· Familiarity with vendor management and contract negotiations

Responsibilities

· Act as the primary contact for MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) and indirect procurement.

  • Monitor inventory levels, analyze trends, and take proactive actions to mitigate supply risks.

· Assist Supply Chain Team with year-end inventory planning and execution
· Lead the cycle count process and corresponding analysis of what system adjustments are required
· Develop opportunities to eliminate repeat inventory inaccuracy issues
· Drive continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives across supply chain functions.

· Assist with logistical planning and execution for inbound and outbound shipments.

  • Issue and manage purchase orders to support production requirements.

· Expediting purchased items, ensuring proper schedule alignment and timely communication/coordination between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
· Manage the process for outbound material transfers to external vendors.
