Your tasks

• They are responsible for the procurement and purchasing of mechanical, electronic and optical components and systems.
• You negotiate contracts, price agreements and terms and conditions independently with existing and new suppliers.
• Through strategic procurement initiatives and framework agreements, you optimize total operating costs and support economical supply.
• They further develop existing supplier relationships and continuously monitor their performance.
• You identify optimization potential within the supply chain early on and derive measures to increase efficiency and minimize risk.
• In supplier negotiations and escalations, you represent the interests of the local site.
• Working closely with engineering, production, quality and logistics, you coordinate procurement needs and operational requirements.
• Furthermore, you will collaborate with international purchasing and supply chain teams and coordinate joint procurement strategies.
• You regularly analyze market trends, industry developments and supplier performance and use the insights for continuous improvements
