Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field required, master’s degree in business preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of supply chain experience required including responsibility for all aspects of Strategic Supply Management
  • Operational understanding of the manufacturing/repair processes for electrical and mechanical equipment – gearbox and motor preferred
  • Financial skills associated with generating and managing a Supplier Base that has an annual direct material and/or services spend of $50M annually require
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills require
Responsibilities
  • Monthly reporting of status and metrics of the Supply Chain organizations of Timken Gears and Services and Timken Motor companies of Timken Power Systems.
  • Generate and manage Standard Operating Procedures for the Supply Chain organizations of Timken Gears and Services and Timken Motor Companies of Timken Power Systems. These procedures may be subject to ISO, SOX and/or FAR compliancy or influence.
  • Manage internal and external Supplier Performance Reporting, Analysis, Corrective Actions or Recognitions as deemed necessary to maintain a Supplier Base that is meeting established benchmarks of performance. These benchmarks may be subject to ISO and/or FAR compliancy or influence.
  • Manage the integration of Approved Supplier Base management within the Timken Powers Systems ERP System (EPICOR). Responsible for integration of any Contractual Agreements that may be entered into by Timken Power Systems.
  • Manage the integration of Timken Corporate Supplier Agreements for both Direct and Indirect Materials and/or Services within the Timken Gears and Services and Timken Motor Companies of Timken Power Systems.
  • Lead the administration of any contractual agreement that may be negotiated with Suppliers on behalf of Timken Gears and Services and/or Timken Motor Companies of Timken Power Systems for Direct or Indirect Materials or Services. Responsible for assistance, oversight and required approvals of any contractual agreements for Direct and Indirect Materials and/or Services that may be made by any of the regional facilities of Timken Gears and Services and the Timken Motor Companies of Timken Power Systems
  • Coordinate all other Supply Chain Management activities that may be undertaken within the Timken Gears and Services or Timken Motor Companies of Timken Power Systems.
  • Lead the Professional Development for all members of the Supply Chain organizations of Timken Gears and Services and Timken Motor Companies of Timken Power Systems.
  • Perform for tactical procurement activities for the King of Prussia Regional location.
