Description

WHAT WE NEED:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Technician to manage inventory, procurement, and shipping while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless material flow. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials, components, and finished goods.

Responsibilities

Inventory and Warehouse Operations:

  • Identifying and addressing discrepancies in inventory.
  • Processing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.
  • Implementing and enforcing warehouse procedures and protocols.
  • Utilize ERP systems to accurately record all inventory movements, transactions, and adjustments.

Purchasing Operations:

  • Review Buyer’s Work Bench daily to identify required products / services needed to meet demand and/or minimum stock levels.
  • Choose appropriate vendors from McCoy Global approved vendor list to send RFQs
  • Create and maintain Purchase Orders by entering relevant data into MRP / ERP system per purchasing procedures.
  • Meet forecasted and/or unplanned procurement needs for commodities and/or specific market segments as assigned.
  • Perform purchasing activities related to direct/indirect products and services including, but not limited to operational supplies, sub-contracting, engineering services, consumables, manufacturing works, MRO, maintenance, site services, VMI Consumables, and calibrations/certifications
  • Provide support (quotes/options) in response to requests for maintenance, repair, operations equipment, services, for plant and office

Shipping and Receiving:

  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including coordinating with carriers and customers.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Complete export customs documentation (HS codes, COO) and the use of our ERP system (Epicor) to ensure all traceability of the shipment is recorded accurately
  • Generate shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and commercial invoices.
  • Responsible for computer-based work like transfers and creating CIPL.
  • Verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality and compliance with Purchase Orders/Packing Slips and internal policies.
  • Inspect good for damages, defects or discrepancies and report any issues as per internal policy including in company ERP and CI Event database.
  • Assist with Labeling, sorting, and putting away received materials in their designated storage locations.

Data and Systems Management:

  • Compiling, recording, and preparing reports on warehouse activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other relevant data.
  • Accurately enter and maintain data in the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Assist in troubleshooting system-related issues at the transactional level.
  • Provide data to the manager in a timely and accurate manner

Coordination and Communication:

  • Communicating with other departments, such as sales, customer service, Purchasing and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Other Duties:

  • Assisting in the overall management of warehouse operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
