Description

Weyerhaeuser Company is accepting applications for a Supply Clerk team member for our Dodson, Louisiana Lumber facility. We are seeking an individual who is committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility. The pay will range from $21.14 - $24.38 per hour based on experience. Key Functions: Perform with a high level of initiative and constructive participation in storeroom activities including receiving, inspection, storing, issuing, kitting, shipping, webcycles, blocked invoices, obsolescence, critical spares, credit card reconciliation and computerized inventory accuracy and controls, etc. Manage PPE and janitorial supply onsite inventory Facilitate shipments and documentation Maintain a safe, neat, clean, and environmentally responsible work area Work with procurement to be knowledgeable of delivery commitments Work closely with vendors and suppliers Maintain ethical and appropriate business relationships with vendors and suppliers Other related duties as assigned by Leadership High School Diploma/GED is required Minimum of 2 years’ experience in storeroom coordination, purchasing, receiving, and/or inventory management an industrial environment Ability to be forklift operator certified Demonstrated commitment to safe work behaviors and experience ensuring compliance with safety initiatives, company guidelines, and legal requirements Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and electronic communication skills Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees, vendors, etc. Ability to multi-task and thrive in a busy, fast-paced work environment Able to perform all essential functions of an industrial environment, including lifting 2-20 pounds regularly, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, climbing steps/ladders, working from heights, standing, or walking for 2-3 hours at a time for 10 hours or more, working in extreme temperatures, dust, and noise while wearing all safety equipment Flexible with schedule and able to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed Preferred Qualifications: CMMS (such as SAP) experience Previous forklift experience, Certification is a plus About Wood Products: We've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
