Description

BASIC PURPOSE: Under the direction of the Materials Manager, the Supply Coordinator is responsible for managing medical/ office supplies used by the company. This includes the inventory, ordering, receipt, stocking and processing of all materials. Maintains inventory records of supplies and materials to various departments. Coordinates and receives purchase orders. Actively reviews and recommends PAR changes in Wasp software for stock to ensure the proper level of supply to meet current demand is accurate. Ensures appropriate steps taken to comply with the requirements of Guam Radiology Consultants. Assists the Materials Manager with assigned projects.

EXPERIENCE AND SPECIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent (may be foreign equivalent).
  • One year experience in Materials Management (warehouse, purchasing, merchandising, etc.) preferred.
  • Must be proficient in use of PC and Widows OS, Inventory Management Software (WASP), familiar with Medical Supplies typical to Radiologic procedures, able to communicate in a professional manner. Should be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Must possess basic typing skills to input various data into WASP system. Must be familiar with all equipment and processes needed to complete duties. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
  • Peforms daily inventory duties; Ordering and receiving supplies ensuring product availability. product expiration sweeps, cycle counts, proper storage, and stock rotation. Collaborates with designated clinical personnel to process any special-order requests needed for scheduled procedures.
  • Source the supplies and the preparation of purchase orders for approval by the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Responsible for replenishing nurses’ and CRNAs’ narcotic boxes.
  • Maintains an accurate inventory of supplies stored in the warehouse and on-site clinic storage areas (e.g. Supply Room, storage closets, patient treatment/ recovery room drawers). Monitors par levels of supplies critical to the operation of the clinic and the treatment of patients (high volume usage supplies).
  • Facilitates the replenishment of supplies used in operations via electronic requests and regular daily inspection of patient treatment/ recovery room drawers.
  • Facilitates the replenishment of supplies in the warehouse and Supply Room by receiving ordered supplies stocking received supplies in designated storage areas and forwarding updated inventory counts to the Materials Manager. Informs the Materials Manager of shortages of critical supplies immediately.
  • Maintains accurate records related to purchasing, delivery tickets, returns, requests for supply replenishment, quotations, supply sources and other relevant data.
  • Assumes responsibility to adhere to GRC SOP’s, to the regulations of all local and Federal agencies.
  • Maintains clean workspace in the Supply Room and warehouse. Protects and Safeguards GRC Assets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
