Responsibilities:

  1. Logistics Coordination
  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments on behalf of clients, selecting and coordinating with optimal carriers, consolidators, and other service providers.
  • Ensure freight is moved in accordance with agreed timelines, cost targets, and quality standards, keeping all stakeholders updated on shipment progress.
  1. Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with suppliers, trucking companies, and warehousing facilities to secure the best possible terms for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers, regularly reviewing their performance to ensure reliable service.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to address any regulatory or documentation challenges, minimising delays and avoiding penalties.
  1. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators, such as on-time delivery rates, shipping costs, and carrier performance.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs—implementing improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Manage storage solutions or coordinate with third-party warehouses as needed, balancing cost and service quality.
  • Monitor stock movements (where relevant) to ensure inventory is well-maintained and aligned with clients’ requirements.
  1. Team Leadership
  • Promote a collaborative and customer-centric environment, ensuring high levels of communication and service delivery.
  1. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as a point of contact for key clients, understanding their specific logistics needs and providing solutions.
