Duties & Responsibilities * Serve as an on-call Supply Early Childhood Educator, providing flexible coverage across programs in the region by picking up shifts based on personal availability. * Work collaboratively with children as our partners to co-create experiences to investigate, explore, and amplify their interests. * Offer dynamic, diverse, and unique programming that supports the well-being, engagement, and expression of children. * Consider and explore a wide variety of approaches to early learning, including Reggio-Emilia Approach, Play-based and Project-based Learning, Outdoor Education, Arts-based Learning, HIGH Five Principles of Healthy Child Development, Positive Youth Development, among other evidence-based approaches and practices. * Facilitate belonging for children and families by creating welcoming, accepting, and safe environments for children and families to learn and play. * Work collaboratively to build strong family partnerships in our communities through meaningful communication, facilitation of events and opportunities to involve and engage families in our work. * Be innovative in their approach to alignment with Ontario’s emergent curriculum and guiding pedagogical philosophy, ‘How Does Learning Happen?’ At Today’s Family, we celebrate diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive environment.
