JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a well-organized supply management specialist for a full-time position. Responsible to procure materials, labor, and services for capital projects in a cost effective and timely manner.

  • Procure materials, labor, and services for various capital projects using contracted and non-contracted vendors.
  • Negotiate favorable pricing with non-contracted vendors.
  • Prepare and submit purchase requisitions in Maximo and Coupa.
  • Work with vendors to obtain order acknowledgements and follow up on overdue equipment and materials.
  • Complete Receipts in Coupa for services related to Capital Project purchase requisitions.
  • Participate in Capital Project status meetings for various capital projects
  • Work closely with ADM Global Procurement to maintain compliance with ADM procurement policies and to issue Purchase Orders in a timely manner.
  • Submit requests to close purchase orders to support timely capitalization and closure of capital projects.
  • Work closely with the Regional Capital Project Analyst in capitalizing and closing capital projects.
  • Assist colleagues with Coupa and Maximo questions and issues.
  • Create and maintain Purchase Order Tracking sheets for each capital project.
  • Serve as plant liaison with equipment rental companies, coordinating equipment rental, delivery, pickup, and service. Maintain spreadsheet tracking all capital rental equipment.
  • Check contractor compliance within ADM’s Contractor Data Management System and Submit Compliance Requests as needed to support Capital Projects.
  • Work with Project Managers to get contractors approved in First Verify and GateFeed. Resolve invoice & accounts payable issues related to Capital Project purchase requisitions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • This position is 100% on-site at ADM in Clinton, IA.
  • >95% time at desk; <5% time on construction sites within the ADM Corn Plant.
  • Must be willing to use a desk phone daily to make calls to vendors.
  • Must have proven computer skills such as email, Microsoft Excel, and internet searching.
  • Experience with Maximo and/or Coupa preferred.

  • Successfully pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen, Criminal Background, Physical Exam, Customer Security Check, E-Verify, Motor Vehicle Record (if applicable), other assessments (if applicable)
  • Attendance – Must be available when scheduled for work

  • Must perform quality, accurate, complete, well-organized, concise, analytical and well-articulated work
  • Must be able to communicate, understand and follow directions
