Description

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and procedures.
  • 8 years of demonstrated relevant experience required.
  • Strong communications skills, including the ability to interact efficiently with Military Personnel and Civilians
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications
  • Previous experience as an Air Force Supply Planner or in a comparable logistics/supply role
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S.Air Force logistics systems and policies
  • Skilled in managing procurement, supply planning, and asset visibility tools
  • Ability to provide training and leadership within logistics operations teams.
  • Personnel performing on this effort must be a U.S.citizen and able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.May include lifting to 25 pounds as necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Support Government Supply Planners by executing supply planning tasks using Air Force logistics systems.
  • Perform requirements determination and inventory analysis using:
  • Enterprise Supply Chain Analysis, Planning & Execution (ESCAPE)
  • Service Parts Management (SPM/Servigistics)
  • Conduct file maintenance in the Automated Budget Control System (ABCS) and assist with Program Execution and budget development.
  • Develop and manage Purchase Instrument packages using Purchase Request Process System (PRPS).
  • Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to analyze usage trends and factor changes.
  • Review discrepancies in terminations, repairs, excess stock, and purchasing actions.
  • Manage logistics and supply chain activities involving:
  • National Stock Number (NSN) reviews
  • D035A, D143C/D043A cataloging
  • LIMS-EV asset updates
  • Disposal and reclamation actions through Stock Control System
  • Track shipments and assist with logistics documentation including Form 8s, Form 95s, and contract terminations.
  • Utilize tools such as WEBSDRs, ILS-S, CIDS, MIAP, MSDIS, DAASINQ, and WEBVLIPS to monitor and manage supply status.
  • Provide journeyman-level support and training to logistics personnel.
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding asset status, procurement actions, and supply chain activities.
  • Assist the Requirements Control Officer (RCO) as needed with logistics and planning duties.
    Compensation Minimum: $60,000.00
    Compensation Maximum: $68,000.00
