About the role Lead and orchestrate end-to-end supply chain planning by developing and executing the Master Production Plan, balancing demand, production capacity, materials, and logistics to ensure optimal service levels, operational efficiency, and sound decision-making. Key responsibilities Build, own, and lead the Master Production Plan, integrating demand, plant capacity, materials availability, and operational constraints. Ensure end-to-end supply chain alignment, connecting customer demand, production planning, materials, suppliers, logistics, and distribution. Translate commercial demand into feasible production and supply plans, balancing service, cost, and efficiency. Lead production planning and material planning processes, proactively identifying risks and bottlenecks. Collaborate and negotiate across functions including Plants, Customer Care, Quality, R&D, Logistics, and General Management. Manage production and supply constraints related to capacity, labor, materials, and lead times, proposing alternative scenarios and solutions. Drive the adoption and effective use of planning systems and SAP, reducing reliance on manual processes. Analyze complex data sets and synthesize them into clear, structured, and actionable communication for different organizational levels. Lead, develop, and strengthen the supply planning organization (3 direct-report managers and approximately 30 team members overall). Evolve the leadership model from hands-on execution to delegation, coaching, and talent development. Act as a key escalation point for critical planning deviations, maintaining composure and resilience under pressure. Ensure strong alignment between centralized planning and execution across San Juan Plant, Irapuato Plant, and external toll manufacturing sites. Actively participate in strategic decision-making forums, providing an integrated supply chain perspective. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational stability, plan reliability, and customer service performance. Qualifications and skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Systems, or related); flexibility based on experience. Background in organizations with similar operational complexity (B2B or consumer goods preferred). Experience managing centralized planning teams with multi-plant scope. Proven experience in production planning and/or materials planning (at least 6 years of experience). Prior hands-on exposure to manufacturing plant environments, with solid understanding of operational constraints. Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge. Advanced knowledge of planning systems and SAP, with a clear focus on digitalization and process optimization. Ability to interpret, challenge, and engage with highly technical teams. Technical conversational English, with regular interaction with U.S. and global teams. Based in San Juan del Río, Querétaro.
