Position Overview We are seeking a Supply Planning Manager to specialize in material planning and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and cost-efficient operation of our manufacturing supply chain. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, this role will focus on the strategic and operational aspects of raw material management while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production and business goals. This role will thrive in a fast-moving and dynamic production environment, requiring agility and adaptability to manage changing operations while ensuring a seamless supply chain process across multiple teams and locations. What You'll Be Doing Material Planning: Strategic and operational aspects of starting material management including raw materials and packaging materials Collaborative Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with Demand Planning, Commercial, Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams to align raw material planning with overall supply chain operations. Raw & Product Material Inventory Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts, ensuring optimal stock levels that align with demand forecasts and production schedules. Supply Plan Development: Establish a strategic material supply plan to avoid any disruptions in production and to ensure smooth operations Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a regional team, fostering strong collaboration and alignment across locations. Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance raw material planning processes, supplier relationships, and cross-departmental collaboration, contributing to overall supply chain efficiency. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze supply chain performance data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, presenting actionable insights to leadership. Who We're Looking For Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in supply planning, procurement, or sourcing, with a focus on materials in industries such as supplements, food, pharmaceutical, or FMCG. Proven track record in demand and supply planning, cost optimization, and supplier management. Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to balance supply and demand effectively. Hands-on experience in supplier negotiations and relationship management. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying supply chain performance and cost-saving strategies to stakeholders. Team & Environment Fit: Comfortable working in a fast-moving, dynamic production environment with changing priorities. Experienced in leading and managing cross-location teams, fostering collaboration across borders. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
